A Message from Sing N Move Sing N Move 2020-2021 Season Postponed
These are such unusual times. Usually this is the time of year when we are busy planning and prepping with each other, as well as all of our locations for the season ahead. Instead, our preparations this year have been focused on continuously monitoring and discussing the current global and local situation.
As developments and decisions have been made for the upcoming school year and in turn local conditions affected, we have had to make some very difficult decisions, one of which is to postpone our extended Sing N Move Season for the upcoming year. Many factors went into this decision and we weighed each factor with great attention and care, one of which, the most pressing being, that we will both be needed at home.
Lena will continue her teaching responsibilities for the students at JCC following their school procedures and policies, however all of our other Sing N Move classes will be on hold for the season to come. We know that our students need us and the magic of music, so we will continue to send out our monthly newsletter with resources to support our families and stay in touch.
This is not goodbye forever, just a pause during this season of life. Each family, unlike ever before, has been faced with unimaginably difficult challenges and decisions during this extremely challenging time. We send our love and support to you all as you face the task of making hard decisions of your own as we all move forward in the year ahead.
We’ll be holding onto the moments of learning and family bonding we’ve witnessed over the last 8 years and will carry those with us in the months to come. Lena and Liv are so grateful for the support each of our Sing N Move families has given us over the years, but especially now. Thank you for making music a part of your child’s life and for inviting us to share in the journey. Keep singing and moving together at home and know that you can reach us via e-mail anytime at firstname.lastname@example.org. We will continue to monitor and re-evaluate capabilities, needs, and options next Summer of 2021.
