Ms. Liv

Lena is a Director/licensed educator of Sing N Move LLC. She shares passion for music and teaching. “Our goal is to provide the most memorable experience for every family. We start from where your child is, regardless of age, and provide activities that stimulate the mind, body and sense of play.”

Lena grew up in Saint-Petersburg, Russia where she finished musical college. She participated in musical activities all through her early years, playing piano and singing in choirs.

When Lena moved to New York she earned a Bachelor Degree in Early Childhood Education and worked as a classroom lead teacher for over eight years. Lena is an energetic and creative person that enjoys teaching. Lena also has two young daughters who have been taking Kindermusik classes since they were newborns.

“It was such a pleasure to see my daughter enjoy, build great memories and grow with Kindermusik that it was only a natural transition for me to become a Kindermusik instructor myself.” Lena hopes to help all of her parents build wonderful memories and have great experiences with their children at Kindermusik. 

Liv is a licensed educator of Sing N Move LLC. Liv grew up in Rockport, Maine and developed a love for music at a very early age. Having participated in choirs since she was three years old, music has been a constant passion her entire life. While working towards a bachelor’s degree in history at the Pennsylvania State University, Liv was a member of and during her senior year, Vice President, of the Oriana Singers, an all-women’s collegiate choir directed by Dr. Lynn Drafall. After graduating from Penn State, Liv studied education at Lehigh University in Bethlehem, PA where she graduated with a Master of Arts degree in education. 

Liv is a cheerful and compassionate person who believes music and education have the power to change lives, thus why she enrolled her own daughter in Kindermusik classes with Miss Lena at 6 months old. “Kindermusik, and Lena’s teaching, has been such a positive influence in both of our children’s lives. It is a source of true delight and fun while at the same time an educational tool that both they and we as parents benefit from. Seeing the connections made between class and home was so powerful. That was the reason why I wanted to become a Kindermusik educator myself.” Liv’s goal is to nurture her student’s love of music through the Kindermusik curricula and at the same time create lasting memories for parents with their children at such a special time in their lives.
